Position Summary

Developing, implementing, and executing Transportation & Logistics Service providers’ data analysis in compliance with Global Transportation business requirements.

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Business Logistics Technology tools including transportation real-time visibility (Overhaul, other) and transportation lanes management (Lane Database).

Responsibilities

  • Execute logistics performance data analysis, including measurement, reporting and maintenance of logistics partners metrics, KPIs and dashboards
  • Perform data analysis to uncover patterns and insights that supports strategic decision-making and opportunities 
  • Collaborate closely with other Global Delivery Solutions (GDS) functions in developing and executing strategic initiatives improving logistics performance
  • Collaborate with Global Transportation to support and establish performance metrics
  • Lead data strategy to streamline various data inputs
  • Implement processes and procedures to address Global Transportation supplier performance deficiencies
  • Manage Business Logistics Technology tools e.g., real-time visibility, transportation lane database, new carriers’ integration, and logistics supplier(s) dashboard (Tableau)

  • Demonstrated capability in implementing challenging goals, objectives, and practices in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Developed ability to foster a team environment to establish and maintain collaborative relationships 
  • Strongly Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in competency areas of
  • Strategic Agility, Organizational Agility, Business Acumen, Process Design and Management, Organization Change Management and Process Effectiveness - in globally diverse, rapidly changing cross-cultural environment

  • Preferred: Strong strategic and analytical thinking, problem solving and rapid decision-making skills
  • Preferred: Strong presentation and communication skills both, oral and writtenRequired Qualifications and desired experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain in a bio-pharmaceutical company
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with strategic logistical service providers for global solutions
  • Good understanding and exposure to current Good Distribution Practices (cGDP), and other global regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing world class, global logistics processes
  • Exposure and experience in Supply Chain process, principles, and practices.
