Experteer Overview

As CFO on Fastned’s Management Board, you lead the finance function in a high-growth, listed scale-up driving profitability and expansion across Europe. You shape strategy with the Executive Team, optimise capital structure, and steward sustainability and governance. You build a rigorous, fast-moving finance organization to support ongoing investment in the network. This role blends financial discipline with ambitious growth, reporting to the CEO and collaborating across functions.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Strategic planning and advisory with the Executive Board, including evaluating investments and M&A
Manage capital structure to maximise shareholder value (debt/equity)
Lead the Finance domain (Accounting & Reporting, Funding & IR, Financial Control, Tax, Risk & Audit, Sustainability)
Oversee Funding & Investor Relations, including the equity story and earnings calls
Partner with country/functional leaders to evaluate market expansion and business cases
Ensure internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all entities
Drive sustainability reporting and alignment with B Corp obligations
Act as a Management Board member with statutory financial governance responsibilities

Zentrale Anforderungen

Proven CFO or senior finance leader in a listed scale-up or high-growth environment
Experience in infrastructure, energy, mobility, or capital-intensive sectors
Strong leadership across FP&A, financial control, risk management and compliance
Track record in funding and capital markets (bonds, equity, project finance, institutional investment)
Experience in treasury management, cash, FX, guarantees, and bank loans
Ability to articulate long-term financial vision into near-term actions
Affinity with Fastned’s energy transition mission
Experience building or professionalising a finance function, including systems and processes
Willingness to leverage AI and digital technologies across the function
