Experteer Overview

You will drive origination and structuring of transactions with Multilateral Agencies from Madrid, collaborating with global offices. You’ll lead cross-border deal execution, mentor junior staff, and design innovative financing solutions. This role sits at the heart of Santander CIB’s client-centric transformation, offering exposure to complex structures and international teams. Verantwortungsbereiche

Originating new transactions in Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia with travel availability
Producing marketing and internal materials with strong content and visual quality
Structuring and executing transactions with Multilateral Agencies
Leading Export & Agency Finance, corporate, sovereign or project finance-based deals with Multilateral Agencies
Advisory and coordination roles across deal teams
Designing new value-added financing solutions as the team evolves
Mentoring and developing junior staff with feedback

Zentrale Anforderungen

Minimum of 8 years in advisory and/or lending structured/Project/Export & Agency Finance
Expertise in standard non-recourse project/export finance arrangements
Experience leading deal teams across geographies and disciplines
International experience highly valued
Bachelor’s degree
English and Spanish required; Russian would be a plus

Strong communication and presentation abilities Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Self-starter with high attention to detail PowerPoint and presentation skills Interdisciplinary financing and documentation capabilities Ability to manage multiple transactions across time zones
