As a Mechanical Architect Flow & Thermal, you shape F&T architecture for cutting-edge high-tech equipment. You work with a multi-disciplinary team to translate customer needs into robust specifications and designs, balancing performance, cost, and risk. You drive modeling, analysis, and testing to validate system behavior while ensuring safety and quality. You lead by example, manage stakeholders, and foster internal and external networks to enable innovative solutions. This role offers high-impact projects in a collaborative, growth-driven environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Collaborate with other architects, the project manager and the design team to achieve optimal performance with minimal cost, effort, and risk
Translate customer needs into specifications, define the F&T architecture, set budgets, and create conceptual designs of subsystems
Specify tests and integration requirements to close the V cycle
Set up and execute a modeling and analysis strategy and translate results into system performance
Ensure hardware meets safety standards and quality is assured
Manage stakeholders, lead by example, and foster team ownership of deliverables
Build internal and external networks to contribute to organizational growth and success
Be at the forefront of introducing new technologies and solutions, driving innovation
Take responsibility for overall mechanical design considerations when needed, beyond F&T
Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to support project needs

Zentrale Anforderungen

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Physics
10+ years of experience in F&T within high-tech system and/or equipment design
Ability to operate from detailed technical considerations to high-level architectural decisions
Broad orientation to fit F&T expertise within a larger multi-disciplinary context
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
Skilled in various modeling and analysis methods
Experience with (standard) F&T component definition and selection
Experience applying F&T expertise within a broader mechanical system context and contributing outside the direct specialty when required
