About the Job

Company:

Our client is a Global Network Security vendor, with a range of market leading products and a fantastic client base. They have grown dramatically since they were founded and have gone through a very successful IPO. They are looking to continue their growth which has seen them overtake the competition on a global scale.

Role:

The Sales Engineer role will see the successful candidate working closely with the sales team in the region. You will be focused on their main firewall product, but will also be assigned a specific product to enable you to become the product specialist. You will be responsible for handling the sales engineering responsibilities from start to finish, including POC's, RFI's, Tech Presentations on clients sites, etc. This is a hands on role, and the sales team will rely on you for support when needed. The role is home based.

Person:

The successful candidate will have at least 5 year's experience in a pre-sales capacity, with a strong background in network security. Firewall experience would be of particular interest. You will need to speak German, and be very hands on and able to speak the technical language. You will be comfortable engaging with clients on both a technical and commercial basis. It would be advantageous if you have Virtualisation / SDN knowledge, or a CCIE accreditation.
